Tung Grit uses a controlled brazing process to permanently bond layers of tungsten carbide particles onto component surfaces. Unlike welding, the brazing technique operates at lower temperatures, preserving the integrity of the base material while creating an incredibly hard, textured wear surface. The result is a rough, sandpaper-like coating packed with carbide particles that resist abrasion far better than standard steel or even many hardened alloys.
